Student-athletes will learn the fundamentals and apply scientific and critical thinking to the physics of billiards.
Scientific Method
STEM lesson plans feature physics components of billiards including the elastic collisions between billiard balls colliding in kinetic energy prior to conserved energy and the trajectory of the two colliding billiard balls after impact. Student-athletes engage the scientific method as they use their personal measurements, activity challenges and analogies to solve the mathematics and physics of billiard equations.
